Project Profiles

Cessna Citation Maintenance Complex
San Antonio, Texas

Establishing the bold curvilinear design, EMCO employed matched Horizontal Curved Panels
at the buildings main entrance.

Completed in May of 1997, this facility represents the latest advances in a full-service flight maintenance facility. The latest in Cessna's new advance design concept, both the hangar and the customer service center are fully air conditioned.

In its present form, the insulated wall system is primarily comprised of vertical, 2" deep factory insulated wall panel.

Accenting both the deep-profiled Horizontal panel and the vertical insulated panel are 12" wide F-12 fascia and soffit panels.

It is particularly noteworthy that initial design for the exterior metal system was based around a traditional, field-insulated wall system. EMCO's proposals for the project offered an alternate, cost savings proposal based upon conversion to a factory insulated wall system.
